Corridor8 Writer’s Residency At Castlefield Gallery

Corridor8 recently announced a new writer’s residency working in conjunction with Castlefield Gallery and The International 3.  The paid residency will be based at Castlefield Gallery during their upcoming Andrew McDonald exhibition (28 April – 11 June) and is open to anyone based in the North of England. We are looking for applicants who wish to develop their writing or who use writing as a practice medium, who will work alongside an established writer mentor, develop a public programme event for Castlefield Gallery’s programme, and produce a text to be included in a limited edition publication. I’d like to draw your attention to the opportunity for staging events, talks, prestigious external speakers, exhibitions for PGRs. Perhaps, student-led and with PGT. I’d like to package them up as pre-launch festival for the GS in May/June/July with a view to giving the GS a higher profile both inside and outside the university with the added aim of generating an increase in recruitment.
