Library trial to Bridgeman Online Images – feedback needed

We are reaching the time of year when we review our online and print subscriptions.  As part of this process, it is an opportunity to try out new resources, which we could suggest to add to the library’s collections, based on the feedback we receive.

Therefore, we have arranged a trial to Bridgeman Education.  This visual resource gives access to over 1.2 million digital images of art, history and culture from global museums, galleries, private collections and contemporary artists.  Images are copyright cleared for use within education.

You can access the database at https://www.bridgemaneducation.com/

On campus you should be able access the database straight away.  If you are off campus, use the following Username: ManchesterMet; Password: Br1dgeman56.

The trial runs until 22nd March.  Please note that during the trial only low resolution/watermarked images are available.

If you do have any feedback on the resource, then please let us know.  Student feedback would also be useful, so please feel free to pass the details of the trial on to your students.
