New Postgraduate Historical Journal for the Faculty of Arts and Humanities

I would like to announce the launch of a new Postgraduate Historical Journal for the new Faculty of the Arts and Humanities. The aim of the journal is to give all PG students from MA up (and those within 1 year of completing) the opportunity to get involved in editing a journal, publishing short pieces of work, and acting as peer reviewers. We are looking for students to work on all aspects of the journal

Information about the journal is going out to PG student in the coming weeks, but in the meantime I would be grateful if you could draw the new journal to the attention of your MA and PGR students and emphasise that the journal is taking a broad approach to all aspects of history – political history, historical literature, history of art, architectural history, fashion history etc – from all periods and geographical locations.

There is also a competition to name the new journal (as it is a complete mouthful the moment!).

Please direct students to http://www2.mmu.ac.uk/hpp/research/pg-historical-journal/ to find out more.

Best wishes,

Kathryn
